Delete your Reverie account
Open Reverie → Me → tap the gear icon → Delete account.
Deletion is scheduled and completes 24 hours later. During those 24 hours you can cancel it simply by signing in again. After that the data below is erased and cannot be recovered.

If you can no longer open the app, email
support@alphetalabs.com
with the subject "Delete my Reverie account" and include your user number
(the #1234 shown next to your name on the Me page). We will delete it within 30 days,
and will reply to confirm once it is done.
Delete only part of your data — keep your account
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove what you have shared with us.
- Remove a story you published to the community plaza: open that story in Reverie → Take it down. The published copy is deleted from our servers immediately. Your own copy stays on your phone.
- Delete a story on your phone: open it → Delete this story. If it was published, taking it down from the plaza happens automatically at the same time.
- Anything else: email support@alphetalabs.com with your user number and say which data you want removed. We reply within 30 days.
None of these touch your account, your gems or your purchase history.
What gets deleted
- Your account and user number
- Your gem balance and full transaction history
- Your usage records
- Stories and conversations synced to your account, if you signed in
- Images you uploaded or generated — unless the same image is still used by a story someone else published
- Your in-app activity records
- Notifications we sent you in the app
- Any stories you published to the community plaza
- Any story snapshots you chose to upload during testing — including their conversations
What stays on your phone
The app also keeps your stories and conversations on your phone. If you never signed in, that is the only copy, and uninstalling the app removes it — we hold no backup of it.
What we keep, and for how long
- Crash reports — kept until the underlying fault is fixed, with your account identifier removed at the moment of deletion. They contain no story content.
- Feedback you sent us — kept without any link to you, so we can act on the product issues it describes.
- Purchase records — retained for 7 years where tax and accounting law requires it. These consist of the transaction identifier, amount and date only.
Nothing in this list can be used to identify you or to recover your stories.
This cannot be undone
Deleting your account is permanent. Gems, purchases and published stories cannot be restored afterwards, and signing in again creates a brand-new account.
